This show is so important, it portrays that young black youth are most definitely multifaceted and their dreams are worth pursuing. I appreciated all the nuances, the poetry, the music, especially the cast. It deserves to make a comeback

The Get Down is one of the greatest hip-hop stories ever told. I love how it wasn't only about the music but it's focal points were politics, romance, brotherhood and friendships. I enjoyed the fantasy and animation parts as well even got me interested in Marvel comics now. What I love most of all is how intelligently the story was told. I really need netflix to reconsider bringing back this show and giving it a proper ending its not wise to ignore the viewers you have to serve the audience, after all we the audience are the consumers, we are the reason you guys over there @ netflix are as (Liquidated) as you are, so the least u could do is spend "our" money on what we LIkE. If you refuse Not only will I Petition to have the Show premiere on a "Real" television network but I will also go to the hacker community myself and have them Shut Down netflix streaming systems and tamper with Data causing you to lose millions every second, every hour, and every day Netflix is offline....ps. I'm asking respectfully bring back THE GETDOWN!

Please bring it back- I planned on cancelling netflix soon, but once I started watching the Get Down I couldnt get enough of it, Netflix became my best friend..!

The Get Down is an important piece of art with representation in areas where it's rarely received. Its very disheartening to see a series with such in-depth, important characters played by people of color getting discontinued while things like 13 Reasons Why get a second season.
