This show is the most original, diverse thing I have seen and I love it to pieces. There are still more stories to tell for nearly all of the characters.

The Get Down means a lot to me. Not too many shows/movies can do the work and do it right, like this show has. Not many shows and movies can represent hip hop for the culture, by the culture. This show has the potential to do so much more than it already has. This is the type of show to change people's ideas about the world and other people. Just like in the show, we gotta bring everyone together to fight, and I believe this show can do that.

This show has done so much for me and so many others! The representation it brings to so many different communities is game changing and every one of the characters are so complex and beautiful. In attached to every single one, and I need another season: they're journey isn't even close to being over yet.
