The Get Down needs to be renewed. There is so much left to be said, seen & heard. The storyline is the absolute best. The Get Down! was truly a classic tale of love, struggle, and the birth of Hip Hop. To lose such a great show and cast is beyond heartbreaking. This show needs a proper finale.

The best show ever ... look how hip hop has changed the word and is inundated in very thing we see ..(marketing..advertising and the list goes on ) and back then it was a fad and not gonna last ...if we only knew

The Get Down IS my favorite show! They finally come back after approximately 4 months and Netflix cancels it ?!?! That's not fair!! Rather cancel 13 reasons why, we already know all the damn reasons!! #renewthegetdown

This show has an amazing storyline, wonderfully raw and emotional acting, addresses serious issues, is full of nuanced, non-stereotypical POC main characters (giving some much needed diversity to the group of Netflix original series), and some of the most beautiful editing I've witnessed in a series. And it gets cancelled. Wow.
