The Get Down is my absolute favorite tv show, I have watched it so many times already and my heart broke when I heard the news. I hope that this petition gets through to Netflix and that they continue onward with the show

Amazing show, his is the perfect time for it and I want so badly to see what happens next for everyone. To see everyone make it or die trying and to see the true birth of hip hop and the societal impacts.

The Get Down is such an amazing show. The amount of PoC representation is amazing there needs to be more shows like this but they're canceling one of the only shows that have PoC rep ??? And not to mention the PoC in the LBGT community actually have someone they can look up to (Dizzee) when they have problems with their sexuality. The media is so white washed you never get to see a gay black man or woman and it's not fair for LGBT PoC to grow up not being represented in the media. I love The Get Down so much it's the first time in tv Ive seen latinx not cleaning a house, please renew The Get Down.
