It's the most musically and aesthetically pleasing show on the air right now, with talent galore from both the experienced and new performers.
A show that not just looks good and sounds good, but a show that finally gives a picture to the beginning of hiphop (albeit with artistic licence) this will grow beyond the USA, I'm in the UK and it needs a further push here but hiphop is back, in a BIG way!

We need a new season of the get down, it shows culture of a topic that's now making billions of money. Not everyone knew the source of hip hop, this show expressed raw flavour and should be continued #renewthegetdown #thegetdown

The Get Down is basically the only Netflix show that had me binging it all in one night. It's diverse, it's artistic and it's poetic. Its unlike anything else currently on the platform.
