This story is about where I grew up and it needs to be seen. We have too many misrepresentations out here about Hip Hop. The Bronx is HIP HOP!!

This show is bringing to life a hugely important part of the evolution of black music by showing the birth of hip hop. Kids today need to be able to see the history of rap music and the show includes real footage of hip hop culture as it was in the 70s. It would be a travesty to not let this series continue.

We really need shows like this so the youth of today can understand how hip-hop and other music was created. I'm a post-pioneer Dj myself and it's hard to teach these kids that want to be like Paris hilton djs.
