I had been planning on attending Marywood in the fall after I graduate. I don't want to enter a school that doesn't care about its faculty or students. Bring these faculty members back!

We are waiting for answers. Just because it's spring break doesn't mean we'll swipe this issue under the rug. This better be fixed by next week. Kids are talking about transferring. Are you nuts !? Bring back these 9 teachers before you lose 50 students

These students are truly heartbroken. This needs to be fixed immediatley. So sad for them, they should be enjoying spring break but instead are trying to come up with ways to save their teachers jobs, like this petition. Not easy.

There is no worse mistake than to remove qualified and talented teachers from their positions in the name of saving money. There are always other places for cuts, and teachers should be the very last to be sacrificed on the name off cost cutting.

I have alaways seen myself as being apart of the proud alumni of Marywood university. These recent events however are making me think otherwise. Smarten up and renew the contracts of these professors. Have some decency and respect for your students and faculty who work hard all year to keep this place alive. It's truly disgusting.

Similar cuts are being made at my college , Saint Rose in Albany NY. Attacking the primary assets of an institution of higher education is counterproductive and the corporatization of higher ed is an epidemic that tells students their freedom of choice is not valued or respected.

As an adjunct faculty member of Marywood University and unionized local educator , I am appalled by the actions taken here , all in the the name of "savings due to low enrollment". This should have been taken care of before money was frivolous squandered on a library that functions less efficiently than the previous one did. Shame on the administration and all the support and luck to the faculty , keep fighting the good fight!
