I am a person who works with kids and teens with CP and other disabilities. This show made it clear that JJ was a WHOLE person, which is something that too many people fail to recognize with people who are physically limited and non-verbal. I think this one of a kind show really was eye opening for many people who have not actually spent much time with people like JJ--and also the struggles that families who are impacted by disability face, such as siblings who feel overshadowed and parents who have put so much into taking care of their children with special needs that they don't know what to do when they are less needed or have a break. I am devastated personally that this show has been cancelled. It needs to come back, or is this another example of things being too real to be entertaining?

As a personal assistant with a BA in visual communication i almost cried when I found this series! It shows disability in such a beautiful was and at the same time, not making a big deal out of it. It is mostly straight and white, but you can't have everything I guess. I just love this show and want more of it! I also hope people learn from this and makes more content with disabled people!

Just found speechless through Hulu, only to find out it’s cancelled. The show was amazing and I fell in love with the Dimeos, they have stories left to tell!

This is a beautiful show about the challenges and achievements faced by special needs families. As a person without any physical disability, I feel I gained an amazing insight while sharing the show with friends and family. Please, please bring this back for the health and compassion of viewers. If placed in the correct time slot, the unique and dynamic characters embodied by an incredibly talented cast are sure to rise in the rankings.

As a Mom of special needs son and a home health nurse to other special needs kids and adults alike; this show needs to go back into production. It was the highlight of my week. It broke many stereotypes of the disabled. It is my hope that Speechless goes back into production somewhere, if not ABC.
