As a disabled person, this show is one of the only places I see myself represented in media. Don’t take that away from me, and don’t take that away from young disabled kids who haven’t had the time to develop a sense of self yet like I have.

Please renew speechless! It is a great show, it shines a light on human strength and weakness. Able bodies are more encouraged to make relationships with those with challenges. I imagine also giving caregivers a comic relief that they are not alone in their love and able to laugh and be seen. It's a great platform to begin delicate conversations to help everyone more approachable. It'd be so sad to see this show go.

Speechless is a gift to families like ours, where we can, for the very first time, see ourselves and relate to both laughter and tears of shared experiences. To see someone with a disability played by a person with a disability, and allowed to be a real whole person rather than a tag line, a fixable, or a pitiable is powerful food that WE NEED in media!
