This is a petition to the Montgomery County School Board and the Superintendent of the Montgomery Public Schools to reconsider their decision to not renew the contract of Wilson Elementary's principal, Dr. Janine Brouillette. Or, if reconsideration is not an option, to indeed accept the reapplication for the principal position by Dr. Brouillette.

The vote to not renew Dr. Brouillette’s contract was made at a special, unannounced board meeting, with seemingly no research done by the School Board and no input allowed from the Wilson parents or teachers. We, the undersigned, encourage the Board and the Superintendent to research the growth, development and success under Dr. Brouillette’s leadership in order to make a truly informed decision.

We are very pleased with Dr. Brouillette’s performance as Principal of Wilson Elementary School and removing her will not have a positive outcome for the school and its students.
