TREB needs to listen to the needs of its members,continue to run both systems in parallel until you can show us that it is superior to what we currently use.

Why fix something that ain't broke. I use GeoWarehouse often and like the way information is presented with access to property parcel registers etc. Is there something I need to know as to why TREB is moving to this other platform? If so, let the membership consider it and decide, after all we are the end-users, are we not? This seems to be an arbitrary decision without consultation, not the TREB I know. Please re-consider!

Got 2 issues with this. Firstly there was absolutely no consultation with members that I am aware of on this which leaves you with the very uncomfortable feeling of "the grown ups (Executives at Treb) knows what is best for the children (Agents in the trenches). Secondly, my undersatnding is that to buy it through the brokerage a minimum of 6 packages must be bought at $3,000 giving each agent 250 hits a year at $500 each agent (I use that in 4 months). If you want more, then you can pay $1,000 as an agent for 1,000 hits however the minimum of 6 packages remain. And you are out of luck if there are not enough agents that want to sign up because they will not sell individual packages to the agents. So with absolutely no consultation TREB has managed to remove costs from its profit and loss and magically onto individual agents personal profit and loss accounts (of minimum $500 however more likely $1000, assuming that is we have got 6 agents interested). Totally unacceptable!

Not acceptable. A vial service to TREB members being stripped for no apparent grounds. I urge you, the elected counceil, to continue the service with GEOWarehouse.. uninterrupted, at no additional cost. Changing it to Public Records has limitations that restricts us from accessing information to better serve our clients and the public regarding vital stats with respect to Evaluation and accuracy.

I think this is injustice, as we have no ways of finding out the real owners of the property and if the listings are signed with the wrong people who we cannot identify then who will be pulled up, would be grateful as this does give up an upper hand to see who really owns the property and whose names should really go ont he listings, as people have taken me for a ride saying not to bother with their spouses and only to realize they are in court proceedings. pls let us have that privilege back

I completely agree with this letter,I am an Apple and mobile user,and i cannot do my work without this service, plus it is abominable that something which affects us so completely and impairs our ability to service our clients was not brought to our attention and voted on!

As an Apple and increasingly mobile user, I'm dismayed at the backward steps, additional cost, reduction in mobility and reversion to antiquated technology, to get inferior information TREB's decision will make to my career.

The MPAC system is flawed and lacking in a number of key areas which are vital for us as real estate professionals to be able to do conduct our business and to create accurate legal contracts. This is an urgent matter that needs to be addressed asap by continuing GEO until a fully tested and equally better or superior product can be put in place.

This was a very uninformed and unfortunate decision by a group of board of directors who did not have the back bone to go and ask the membership for more money in order to pay for Geo. If it was not for the cost .. than it is an irresponsible decision.
