Why do the best shows always get cancelled? Now days tv shows only get like 10-15 episodes. What happened to the old 6 month thing? We sat through some really bad stuff for a long time. The deputy seemed to be close to the real life police forces all across the US with internal corruption and power mungers within. Maybe thats it, TOO realistic?

I don't understand this!!!! This show had 'grit', taught about telling the truth, made a very strong point, and was action packed!!! Quite refreshing show! I loved it! Someone please pick this up!!!

Deputy was a great show. It's a modern day western mixed with a look at the sheriff's department in a large diverse community.
