Even though I am not Hispanic, I really feel like I can relate to this show. I, too, was a weird girl growing up. I moved back home to take care of relatives in the past, and all sorts of other parallels. This show helps me feel like I'm not the only one.

It was finally a breath of fresh air to see our (mexican) people on TV in this fashion. We have grown to love and admire the story and lessons learned. Envelopes can be pushed and lines can be crossed with this type of cast. It is also the type of cast and setting that can bring knowledge and understanding to a vision not all ethnicity's see everyday. The Value of family and the love of friends the help of strangers and the push of passion. You gave us a glimpse of what could be....Now write what brings fans like "us" back to the screen like the days of cosby/cheers/hell frasier and so many more.

I really don't think this show was given a fair shake. It was on randomly and was not given a stable place to shine like it already does.

This show is a great representation of a Latino-American family and it's funny! This show doesn't deserve to be cancelled. It's a great movement for Latinos and it has great potential to build a bigger audience.
