Too often television shows are below the intelligence of the viewer.
Turn: Washington's Spies is the exception. Not only is it quality entertainment, but it is a wonderful teaching tool of our nations illustrious history. And with the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence only a decade away, the popularity of the Hamilton Play, and the success of the HBO series John Adams, the time is ripe for Turn to rise in its ratings...providing you give it the advertising and time slot to make it so.
Please consider returning Turn for a 4th season.

I have 10 ancestral grandfathers who served in the Rev. War. 9 Patriots and one Loyalist. I am, as well, related to three of the "Signers". In George Washington's Papers my Loyalist 6th great granddad, Major Richard Witham Stockton, is the subject in several letters back and forth from Washington to Thomas Jefferson and Congress, several of his generals, and through the lines to Lord Howe. There is a message to General Washington from one of his spies which mentions my Tory ancestor, My Major Stockton was , by the British, called "Stockton the Land Pilot" for his skills as a guide and spy. He played an important roll in the capture og Rebel General, Charles Lee. Rebel General, Israel Putnam called my ancestor and his men, "Land Pirates". He knew Washington before the war and others who are portrayed in "TURN". My ancestor would have known Major Andre'. And he had a son, my ancestral uncle, in the King's Rangers. What I'm getting at is I'm an historian and though you have taken artistic license, here and there, "TURN" is a FIRST-RATE presantation of what our early ancestors went through to kick-start this wonderful country. The show is helping everyday Americans get some knowledge of who they came from and who and why we are, today. PLEASE!!! We Americans and Canadians,(because many of our neighbors to the north descend from Loyalist Americans), need a 4th season of "TURN".....and a 5th, 6th, and however many seasons it takes to tell this story of ours. So you have low ratings? So did So did General Washington and his boys before the war was won. Each seasons will get better. Take a chance. Washington did.
