Our school board doesn't need any more bigotry than our history has already allowed.

I don’t want an intolerant person on the school board. If she can’t see others as equals she shouldn’t work with the public, let alone children. I don’t want her intolerance influencing school board decisions.

Renee Dixon has shown time, and again that she is unable to put her religious beliefs aside and serve all children in the Perryville district. She is clearly against a certain population in the school system & apparently has some feelings about other races. This is not a position that she is qualified for & I question her motives. She never should have been elected & needs to go.

I'm convinced as a retired Cecil County educator that Ms. Dixon is contributing to an erosion of mutual respect and good will amongst the citizens of Cecil County at the expense of some of the most marginalized students within our communities.

Ms.Dixon can not effectively remain in a capacity to ensure all learners acquire the knowledge, skills, and qualities to be responsible, caring, and ethical citizens.

Her public comments as an elected official are not only hateful but also dangerous for our students, staff and the community at large.

Homophobia and transphobia cannot be tolerated in our schools.
