Truly awful options. I would not attend another game to watch any of those teams.

What's wrong with sticking with the Mets? If it's good enough for the parent team, of which I'm a fan, it's certainly a good name for one of their minor league teams. Those other choices are stupid. Makes you wonder if the point is to distance the team from being thought of as a Mets team.

All six of the names are an insult to the players, the people of Binghamton, and baseball in general. I heard a suggestion of the BINGHAMTON LYNX - a tribute to Link Aviation and an appropriate mascot. I also like the BINGHAMTON RIVERMEN or B. C. RIVER-METS.
I hope the owners listen to the people of Broome County and honor their wishes instead of acting like pigheaded macho men who cannot admit their mistakes and shortcomings.

Yes, we can do better. How about a traditional name that would recognize our area such as the "Triple Cities Triplets"

I am goin on 35 yrs old n have known them as the B-mets every since I could understand words n so has my parents n they r in there 50s. They showed leave the name alone.

These names are ridiculous, Binghamton will be the laughing stock of baseball. Thousands of suggestions and these six are the best? Impossible. "Bullheads" at least sounds like a little league or school team name, but not a professional one.

I can understand the idea behind re-branding but these 6 names are all bad, some worse than the others (Stud Muffins in particular). I am disappointed that Triplets or Bingoes are not on the list. Certainly a tribute to the area's baseball heritage would have been appropriate. We need a new slate of names and I think it should include retaining the B-Mets.
