You're Renaming the B-Mets What?

This is a complete insult to actual Binghamton baseball fans. Although I would be sad if the team were called anything but the Binghamton Mets, many people proposed much better names than 'stud muffins' and 'rumble ponies.'

"Let's go stud muffins" I really can't imagine cheering on a team with any of these names...

BMets is 1000x better than any of the "finalist" names. We have and wear BMets apparel. I can say for sure, that I will not purchase any apparel with those ridiculous names on them. Just picture fans yelling "Let's Go _________" (fill in the blank with a finalist name). It's absurd and whoever chose those names should be fired.

These names are a disgrace to the history of baseball in our region and to the citizens of Binghamton. Please elaborate on how Stud Muffins relates to carousels or the Binghamton region. I imagine you're doing this for publicity, "any pub is better than no pub", but please end this. Get your next 15 minutes like you did with the Netflix & Chill night, but if you go through with this please just move the team.

Is the change in name because you are no longer associated with Mets organization? If not, I suggest you keep B Mets!

The people who suggested those names probably don't even attend games. Please do not take those serious.
