All of tthe new names are so disappointing, and some inappropriate. Keep the name, or come up with something way better.

These names are awful. This is only a sad campaign to get the team moved.

Cannot believe these names are finalists. A disgrace to the team and community. We can do better!

This is an embarrassment to Binghamton. While we don't go to games frequently, we will really never go again if any one of these names are chosen. I'm sure my measly $30 for tickets and food once in a while isn't a huge blow, it isn't the point. This is seriously an embarrassment to Binghamton.

The Binghamton Mets have a pretty great tradition, between the town and the New York organization. To make this switch at all seems like a change just to create some PR -- and from everything I've seen, none of it has been positive. If that's all you wanted, congratulations. But please consider the fans' wishes, too, considering you'll be counting on them to add to the revenue and atmosphere at the stadium.
Renaming the team, to me, has another motive -- to disassociate it from the parent club, thus making it more marketable or easier to sign with another organization. If that's the goal, let us know. I'll guarantee the name change will be easier to take then.
No one understands those six names and they're certainly not easily associated with professional sports. Please do better by the fans than this.
Thank you.

Choices are ridiculous .lets not embarrass the area . Binghamton black bears, grayorbrown squirrels or even B-Spikes after EJ Shoes are much better.

The names chosen are an EMBARRASSMENT to the Binghamton area! Leave the team name alone. Change up the logo and mascot if you want to but this team and name have produced MLB stars and MILB Champions. Changing the name will do NOTHING to enhance the fan experience.

There's noting wrong with the current name, any of the "front runners" would be just stupid

As a lifelong NY Mets fan having their AA team in my hometown was awesome. I was there for opening day in April of 1993 and sat in the rain as an 11 kid That is something I'll never forget.
I don't currently live there anymore but still follow the teams progress and make it a point to come by the stadium whenever I'm in town. I even come by to purchase BMets apparel so I have something to wear. Keep the name the same. There are other ways to create a new buzz for the team. A silly name change is not a good one.

I have such wonderful memories of B Mets games. This team and town don't need to be embarrassed. Do better. Binghamton has a number of historical things that could be incorporated into a name that reflects the town and makes us proud. It was known as the parlor city. Rod serling. The twilight zone. River confluences. Cmon, we what the heck is a gobbler. Keep it classy Binghamton. What about the River Horses. At least that shows some nod to things that make the area special. If it's the stud muffins, count me out from buying any merchandise.
