Peregrine Falcons have flourished here. BU has a cool Bearcat. Senator's are great. We had Whalers back when I was growing up and all anyone can think of is hunting or the carousel. I'm sorry but if I saw an entire baseball team on a carousel I would laugh. Why not just KEEP the name "The Mets" as an interm name for one season. Save some money and have a good think about what a great name, mascot and general face of the marketing aspect (not to mention merchandising) would do to monetize the hell out of this team!! Think on your feet. This community deserves better!!!!

I personally think that is the B-Mets get renamed to any of these suggestions, there will be no more baseball in bingamton because people will be embarrassed to go.
