Those who might at first react by opposing this should reflect that toleration of historical symbols from the past is more likely when the heroes of the current generation are approprately honord as our Constitution enjoin us all to do. I'd be proud to remembering this patriot everytime I use the airport and our foreign guests would appreciate the honour too.so.

I support the renaming of Cape Town International Airport to Chris Hani International Airport. This should assist in keeping alive his name,not as a racist person, but as a non-racist, caring person who fought against an oppressive regime and along on any form of domination on bbasis of skin colour, along the late Tata Nelson Mandela. This is a chance for Cape Town under Western Cape to be seen not only through street name changing, but in bigger things, on its commitment not to bury the history, but to appreciate the deeds of freedom fighter.
