That would be a fitting tribute to Dr. Freeman. I give him a lot of honor and praise. He helped me the 3 years to be the man that I am today. I still practice a lot of the things that he taught me in those 3 years

I think it would be a great honor to rename my old school in memory of Mr Freeman. Onoy those who were students and teachers under his lesdership truly know what a jewel he was. His legacy will live on in all of us that were fortunate and blessed to have known him . "Here comes Mr Freeman!"

I attended Willowbrook Jr. High School many years ago. It is still the Most Significant Educational Experience I have ever encountered. Not even college was as enriching. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Freeman for allowing me to attend and very honored to say, that I am a Pioneer.

Dr. Freeman inspired my career as an educator. He's always been to so many of us a Father figure as well as a mentor. This is so appropriate for Willowbrook to be named in his honor. He devoted his life to us and our community. This action would be a mere token of his true worth that can never be measured. If this happens somehow the alumni and community has to ensure it reflects what he stood for. Let's make this happen!

Dr. Freeman was one of the most influential men early on in my life, alongside my dad, grandfather and pastor. That crooked finger reminded me every day that there were consequences to irresponsible behavior. This honor is not only for Dr. Freeman, but also for the staff at Willowbrook that helped him carry out his vision to educate successfully the children of our community to want to strive to be above average.

its a necessity i show support for this particular petition simply cause 1982-83 my 7th grade semester (and last year dr freeman served as principal) was my best year in jr high!! Dr Freeman made learning exciting and fun!

I went to Willowbrook from 1983-1984 and those where the best years of my life in school and I have to believe it was because of the stable and secure environment Dr. Freeman provided. Thank you Dr. Freeman for your commitment and dedication to the students of the Compton Unified School District.
