I was living in Norfolk on Wellington Road (3 houses down from where the tragic incident occured). Definitely support the idea of renaming the road to Brian Jones Way, he gave his life protecting ours!

He saved my streets on Vimy Ridge Ave, the 3000 block. If he were still here,my street would be even better today. He was a great police officer. He cared a lot about Norfolk. He even lived there. Please rename Wellington to Officer Jones. I would have been honored if Vimy Ridge were to be renamed Officer Jones Street, but Wellington is where he lost his life. It is so heart breaking.

May officer Jones rest in peace and may the city of Norfolk do the right thing by naming the street where he was shot and killed while on duty. Thank you.

This is the least the city can do to honor this public servant.

Officer Jones deserves a memorial in his honor for his sacrifice, and his children deserve to have something to remember their father by as well
