Really close friends growing up with Brian's mother Charolette and Aunt Caddy And uncle Elmer, And know how heartbroken they were and still are of the loss of him. Brian was a good kid and serve our country and kept on serving us as a police officer and was a Godly man. I believe this should of been done a long time ago this is a small measure to do for his children compared to what Brian has done for all of us , Just Remener Brian gave his life there and people should see his name on this street and never ever forget who Brian Jones was. Thank You I pray you name this street after him. God Bless his children, wife, family and friends.

This man is a fallen brother in blue and should never be forgotten. He paid the ultimate price to protect us and our families everyday. Renaming a road in his name in his honor really isn't that much to ask.

Brian was not only my nephew, he was a wonderful father, a great friend to so many, a loving husband, a very caring soul of all, but most of all, Brian was a God fearing man, who loved the Lord with all that he was. If there ever is a time for a street to bare a name, then in Jesus name, it should bare, Brian Jones' honorable name, so that all will remember the brave young man who sacrificed it all, with a heart of gold. We will always love and miss you and we will always remember you.

I'm not sure why the City of Norfolk hasn't already done this but if signing a petition is what it will take for the City of Norfolk to properly honor one of the men who gave his life protecting their citizens then I'm going to sign away.
Brian gave the ultimate sacrifice and Rebekah and his children have learned to live their lives without Brian. The very least the City of Norfolk should do is name the street after him.
