I know Sonny from my time as a band director in the valley. He has always been the most helpful and friendly person. Always willing to lend a hand at contests and very invested in his programs. I think renaming the Band facilities after him is a wonderful way to honor his tenure and impact he has had on McAllen ISD band and music programs.

Both Mrs. Rosa and Mr. Rosa have dedicated their lives to teach their love of music to their students year after year. I see this petition fitting since he dedicated his whole lifetime to the love of music and his profession.
