I hope this could become a reality, as it is not only important to Miami, Cuba and etc..., but its important to all of MLB and to the world, he was such a young man with a big heart and had a whole life a head of him, though most of us did not know him personally, it felt like we did in a sense being that every time he took the mound it felt as we all were with him in and to that journey, so i would love to see the name change. R.I.P. Jose Fernandez

Even though he was only around for a few seasons, what he meant to the city of Miami and the fans was incredible. Not only the city and the fans, but his importance to the team was outstanding. Lovable guy.
