Nebraska all my life. Marlins fan all my life. First baseball game I ever went to was Marlins v Cubs 2003. Dontrelles v Zambrano. I am now in love with the game. Jose made that love so much stronger and something I will pass on to the kids I coach and my future kids will know his story. God need an ace and he got one.

Josè should live on forever, this is something that has hit the community very hard and will take a long time to recover from. The least we can do is honor him and his dedication and love for the sport. We have lost a great man as well as ball player today far to early... I am totally heartbroken
