As a lifelong, diehard baseball fan, this would be a fitting a morally satisfying change to a franchise who will never forget their star pitcher and light of their clubhouse. Such an outgoing person and such a shame to lose not only a big part of the community but also to the world. He touched so many people and always had the spirit very few people possess.

I never called your old stadium anything other than Joe Robbie Stadium. It always felt right and corporate names are boring. Jose Fernandez Park would be an awesome name and show respect to him at the same time. Do it!
