UH Mānoa should hold themselves accountable to maintaining and creating more opportunities to be "a Hawaiian place of learning". Replacing the name of Wise field to its current state as Bachman perpetuates White Washing at UHM, being that the majority of buildings around the campus are predominantly named after white males. Recognizing a Hawaiian that achieved tremendous success at his time should be important and a priority.

If he helped to preserve the Hawaiian language he did a good thing and should be remembered.

This is only right because the university is supposed to be a Hawaiian place of learning.
