The Germans have no roads named after Hitler? Why should the capital of India have a road named after its most cruel ruler?

The momentum behind this demand proves that the city is finally waking up to the reality of who Aurangzeb truly was. We will not stop until this government stops honoring a tyrant who spent his life destroying everything that connects us to our shared history.

LONG LONG OVERDUE.Aurangzeb's policies, misrule and cruelty has impact even to this very day!We should remember him for his terrible deeds and hope no one repeats it ever!
Dara Shikoh who upheld Indiannness was murderd by his brother Auranzeb, and in modern India by the leftist historians who refuse to even grant him a footnote in history. Remove the wretched name of Aurangzeb from anywhere in India and replace it by Dara Shikoh! Full support to this petition.
Rename Aurangzeb road to Darashikho road in Delhi. Darashikho translated Indian Scripts to Parsi so that India's soul was introduced to Parsia and western countries with its values and greatness. Aurangzeb decided people with Jijiya tax, Aurangzeb is a black spot on Indian History.
Indeed...why did we have a road named after a tyrannical, oopressive and a religiously fanatic ruler? His brother Dara Shikoh, who rightfully deserved to ccupy the Mughal throne and whoe religious tolerance and intellectual pursuits were extraordinary, was treacherously killed. He is the great Mughal king India never had.
No need to honour xenophobic monsters! About time we remember true heroes. true men of Honour. Dara Shikoh was one. Lets do him and our history some justice for a change.
