The Arthur Miller Theater was opened on March 29, 2007. Information about the mistreatment of his son, Daniel, who has Down Syndrome, surfaced in August of the same year. Having the name of a man who neglected and wanted nothing to do with his son displayed on one of the most prominent buildings on North Campus is wrong. The momentum is undeniable now. It is clear that this community expects better than celebrating someone who abandoned his own child.

Arthur Miller does not represent the inclusive ideals that the U of M strives to uphold! Change the name and include Daniel!
Our University deserves better. We should be naming our buildings after respectable UMich affiliates
it is honestly so shameful that we still have his name on a building when we know what he did. do better michigan.

We are a school of the leaders and the best. Our buildings should be named after the leaders and the best of this institution!
