DISTRICT 4 LETTER OF SUPPORT!

Dear Commissioner Reyes and City of Miami Commissioners,

I am a supporter of the (2340 SW 32nd Ave, Miami, FL 33145) project as it has been presented and I am pleased with the design, added business professionals and neighbors it will bring.

During this process I have found RAB Builders LLC to be responsive to our questions and thorough in their grassroots outreach efforts. This process began with a conceptualized design and has evolved due to the input from immediate neighbors as well as the community.

It is understood that this structure will serve as a Senior Living Extended Care Facility that will include independent living, catered living, assisted living, memory care, nursing and rehabilitation. The sophisticated design and construction proposed is encouraged as it will set a high bar for future projects which will only improve our positively changing neighborhood.

I thoroughly support the project for many reasons and here are a few for your consideration:

-This commercial project being proposed blends with the neighborhood as it will continue to evolve. It is a real compliment to the mixed-use and distinct character of the area.

-It is a project that will allow the employment of more job seeking individuals in and out of the district. As a result, it will enrich the area by increasing revenue to nearby restaurants and help flourish other neighboring small businesses. The eight-story building will only increase the number of employees the structure can house.

-It will be a welcome new addition replacing a current Banquet Hall and Night Club. The design of an appealing commercial building with natural greenery in its surroundings is definitely preferred over a Banquet/Night Club that does not employ as many job-seeking residents/professionals, and does not encourage a safe crowd.
