Quebec is a perfect example of the "basket of deplorables" that Hillary Clinton spoke about. Even though we Canadians like to pretend that we're so much better than the Americans in race relations - these names would never be allowed in the United States. Quebec is racist, and has always been. Get rid of these racist names. I'm sure there would be a great uproar if the river was called "The White Trash Rapids" or the "Cracker Rapids."

These names, although historical, should be updated to fit current Canadian and Quebecois values.
