We the parents of ITAA would like to start proceedings in removing the sitting president of ITAA…”Scooter” Marlow from his current position. We use the case of "Conduct not befitting to the office of President" or Board for that matter. We no longer feel like he is acting in good faith for our organization and feel like it is time for him to recuse himself effective immediately, from his post. We are experiencing a tremendous drop in membership do to the hemorrhaging of good players and coaches. Athletic Associations not only need to retain exceptional players but also coaches as they are the driving force in turning out quality players. We would also like to state the case that "Scooter" has used his post to influence election outcomes by keeping quality candidates from running for the positions of their choice. He has also verbally threatened parents, other board members, and coaches. He has done so in games in front of young children and sets a very bad example of how disagreements are resolved. He has threatened physical violence on coaches and other board members during board meetings and we feel like he will act on these diatribes at some point in the very near future. We would like to remove our organization from the possibility of any liable suit since this would become very costly and unnecessary to ITAA. Therefore we ask the Board to remove him immediately in the best interest of ITAA parents and players.
