The page is finally gone and that vile image has been wiped from the site. Facebook ignored us for weeks but our pressure stopped them from hiding behind their useless internal rulings. Stay alert because these networks will always let hate fester if they think no one is looking.

Final supporters
We are petitioning Facebook to remove a photo on a page on Facebook which is clearly anti-Catholic hate speech. The photo shows Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI with an evil look on his face and it has the caption "I prayed to molest a boy" & "And God granted me my wish". I have already reported this image a couple of times and each time Facebook ruled that it did not violate the hate speech rule. This image is extremely offensive and we demand that Facebook immediately remove the photo. You can see the photo here but be warned, it is VERY offensive.

UPDATE (2/14/2017): I just checked the link to see if the photo was still there and it appears that Facebook has removed the page which posted the image. Either that or the owner of the page has deleted it. I don't know if this petition brought about its removal or what but our objective has been completed.

We just hit 100 signatures and this proves that Facebook cannot continue to ignore our demand to take down this vile hate speech. Their refusal to act is a pathetic failure of their own community standards. We are keeping the pressure on until that offensive filth is gone for good.

This is disgusting. Why does fb allow this kind of trash on their site? Keep it clean!
Unbelievable that people think this is funny. Needs to come down immediately.
Totally unacceptable. Reported it multiple times and they do nothing. Typical.
