Remove WEBTOON Daily Pass

I hate it too, I used to read every comic on webtoon that I want, now I must wait

Webtoon daily pass sucks. I can’t binge the series, and binging the series is what makes reading it so fun! They took out the good aspect of reading by making daily passes..

I've been reading Webtoon for most of my life. The first and only comic I read was Super Secret. I loved it. But then I didn't read Webtoon for many years after that. After seeing some interesting comics though, I reinstalled it to see what new stuff I could read in this day in age when the pandemic of happening, and everything was going fine until I noticed the words "Daily Pass" plaguing my screen. I didn't know what this was as it was a new concept for me at the time, but after I learned what it was, I was immediately not too fond of it. To try not to go into full detail, I hate it because it gets rid of the "free-to-read at anytime" aspect of Webtoon. This was the main reason to get the app, but now, not only can you only read one episode a day on certain and more popular comics, meaning that all kinds of bingeing are out of the question, you'll want and need to read other comics with the Daily Pass so you don't waste your time reading for years, and it taunts you to pay for the rest of the episodes so you can read them anytime you want. Oh, sorry, I mean for 14 days after buying. That's just a separate problem altogether. And let's say you did buy your way to the end of the comic, each episode costs around 3 or so coins, and the most you can buy is 2000 (In the present time because of the +1000 coin sale) for 200 dollars, meaning that you are paying 200 real-life dollars for barely 300 episodes. Which, depending on what comic you're reading, might be as much or more than the number of episodes. So even with that money, you'll still have to pay for any other comic series for that same price if you want to watch it at your leisure. That is crazy. And what if you don't have that much money to spend. Well, you could just spend the entire course of the year reading the same continuing story. The same story that was originally "free-to-read at any time". Now, I get why they do this. It's a way to get money. And I get that. But this is just a cruel and unusual punishm

I don't care if they keep the daily pass, but now they are implementing them on ongoing series and classifying them as "Daily Pass Originals." Very disappointing.

Daily Pass is so unessercary and stupid idk who told Webtoon it was a good idea.

Anything that hurts binging hurts readers.

I'd rather have ads, binging is something I do a lot of so this completely stops it

Daily pass is just not fair. I always want to read the chapters but i cant because of it. also i have nothing else to read

I had to unsubscribe from a majority of webtoons I was waiting to binge read. (Because you know, I work and have a busy schedule and generally can't ready for up to months at a time) I agree with supporting the creators, but now I can't even read from some of my favorites because I'd have to start the series over from the beginning and wait to unlock them. To get to possibly where i might remember where I left off. Only to wait again to unlock a more and forget what I previously done. I've been off webtoon for a year before! God it felt good to bing read back then... now... most of my reads have been... removed. I cant start all those over, just to read 1 episode from 20 different webtoons... before I'd bunge each of them and get a good chunk of story.

It makes no sense. Webtoon is loosing viewers because of daily passes. I too gave up reading because of this.
