I would never recommend tullys again after hearing how they have treated my fellow students and friends. The stress caused by the incompetence of the company is ridiculous! there should be a rule to ban private orgnisations from sponsoring the union or university, this give path to outside organisationing influencing the university we pay for. This issue is extremely topical right now. This needs to be dealt with!

These people are SCUM. We also had them when I was a student in Portsmouth.. they didn't care about our mice infestation and were incredible rude on the phone.

Never had someone so rude on the phone as Claire, the companies a complete joke, lived in one of their houses last year, we had rats, they didn't get rid of, the shower fell through the ceiling and they took more than a month to even see it, also got very little of my deposit back for leaving a duvet folded on the bed when I left. A whole bunch of other stuff happened but that's what stands out. Tully are a shambles

4th year as a student and only once have I gone through an agency to secure a tenancy and that was with this joke of a leggings agency. I'm pretty astonished that something like this hadn't already been considered by the students union as this company is both fraudulent and offensive! Our house itself was not too bad although we had builders in leaving ladders and walking filler through our kitchens for about a week which was frustrating! At the end of the tenancy, the part where we are supposed to get out deposits paid back, we were sent photos of items such as an empty beer box under the stairs, a piece of paper in a bedroom draw and a brand new pot of coffe unopened that we thought we'd leave as we wouldn't use it, and charged for removal of these items, the beer box cost £40, the paper £20 and to take a plastic bag from under a sink £20. When we contested this we were responded to with abuse and sarcasm from a woman named Claire who, if this wasn't a public post, I could describe in unpleasant words. 3 of us paid £300 deposits and got back £120 each which totalled £540 of costs involved in removing pieces of paper and a pot of coffee. Absolute scams and can't believe the university let them sponsor events such as freshers fayre and varsity, the admin fees are absolutely ridiculous also, I could honestly write a whole essay on how bad this company is.

Having seen the stress it has caused people I know who are with Tully, they definately should not be allowed to advertise with the Union, let them sort out their current customers before trying to rope in the uninformed.

I feel that the students deserve better from their accomodation providers and that the university needs to step up and protect its students from private agencies like this. I will never go again with Tully and co and would never reccomend them.

They're not the only letting agency out there that thrives off ripping off students, but this is a step in the right direction at least.

Taking advantage of students because they are an easy target, wouldnt get away with half of it with adult clients, disgraceful business model!

The Union should do more to safeguard it's students from unscrupulous landlords and letting agents. I don't think Tully & Co care about it's clients, from experience I know they let out sub standard accommodation - I don't believe the Union should support this.

The staff were rude and patronising towards me and my housemates. Any problems that I informed them of were either forgotten or ignored. It took weeks before anything was done after numerous phonecalls on my part, any work carried out was substandard and in no way fixed the issues. Also was charged a cleaning fee when we moved out even though we had it cleaner than it had been handed over to us!

Having unfortunately been burgled at my previous address, under the management of Tullys, we were shocked at the service received at such a difficult time. The female manager was a nasty, nasty woman, and the manager wasn't any good either. I was disgusted at the treatment we received, and it seems it's not just students they're awful to. My partner was a working professional at the time, and I was a student. I left in tears and we were unable to resolve any issues with them.
