How about a statue of Crispus Attucks or Frederick Douglass or a soldier of the 54th Massachusetts (I know there's a bronze display near the Common, but that's not a statue).

Yes that statue needs to come down. That is not a positive symbol. They should put a Martin Luther king statue in its place.

I would like to see this statue taken down as it portrays white supremacy. If Lincoln and other whites did what was truly right to begin with, there would be no need to “give” a group of people their freedom

This Lincoln Emancipation statue has to go. It shows dominance of Lincoln over the enslaved man and does not embrace the Emancipation that it states it does. Please remove statue. Thank you.
