The pedestrian bridge over M-59 in Pontiac, Michigan, currently serves no purpose and hasn't for many years. Years ago, it was used for Pontiac Silverdome event goers who parked on the south-side of M-59. It was a safe way to get people to the north-side of M-59 where the Silverdome sits. Thousands of vehicles that pass beneath the unused bridge everyday. How safe is the bridge? Has it ever been inspected? If so, when? I feel it may be best just to remove it!
