It is time to remove the Canadian Senate, because the Senators are grossly paid and we do not need them. There are 105 Senators who receive $ 135.200 per year plus car allowances and other perk's. Some receive more for the positions that they hold totalling $ 216.000 extra a year. The other part is they where only in the Senate 88 days in 2012. When you total the cost's it amount's to $ 14.412.000 per year, roughly $ 1.536.00 per day if they even showed up or not. Its an insult to the Canadian People that these Senators are not elected by the people, but by the Prime Minster at the time. More or less a thank you for your help in electing me as Prime Minister. Its time Canadians wake up and remove them.
