Remove the BM complex barrier.

I’ve not actually used the barrier yet because I’ve just driven in when someone else comes out. Completely pointless. I believe this has been installed just to give security to their own cars,

An outrage

The barrier is a disaster waiting to happen, not only it is a make shift design, I'm pretty sure that it doesn't meet british standards for construction, lack to no consideration for emergency access and I'd love to see the risk assessments (including resident welfare) and safety working practices for the staff who erected it, not to mention the risk to residents if they were forced to remove to support emergency access with a view to preserve life.

A huge health and safety risk. A lot of parking enforcements signs put up saying we are not allowed to park in certain areas due to access being required for emergency vehicles, however I have seen a Police Van, Ambulance and Fire Engine unable to get into the car park because of the barrier!

Current Resident who also shares the concern that this barrier is stopping vital emergancy services from getting access to people who need them.

Needs to be gone or replace with a proper barrier.

This barrier needs changing due to the Ambulances not being able to access the site. Since I moved here at the end of January, I have seen the ambulance have to circle and park up on the curb, next to the wooden door. This isn't right, as the delay in getting to the site, could infact cause someone their life. Especially during the time we are in with Coronavirus, I have witnessed the same happening again and it isn't right! I understand the previous issue with people using the area for caravans etc, but someone's life is more important than that issue. It has also caused moving Van's to have to drag people's fridges etc,down on a trolley (I actually witnessed this) and they shouldn't have to. The simple issue is a different type of entrance to stop caravans, the overflow from the new B&M, or any other issues. That way, the residents here will feel safer and know that access can be made by those who need it.

If 'travellers' can find a place to park a load of caravans when I can never find a car park space for myself then hats off to them!

Defo agree! The barriers needs to be removed . People will die if emergency services cannot attend

Needs removing so people can be saved in emergencys. Nobody should lose their life's because of a barrier.

This is absolutely necessary!!! It is preventing emergency services from doing their job quickly. It’s only a matter of time before there is a serious incident which could have been prevented if the barrier wasn’t there.

Remove the barrier

This barrier is going to cost lives !! If an Ambulance couldn't get in a fire engine can't !! Why isn't it an electric barrier with a key code ? Which residents can give to the emergency services ?

find a suitable alternative so emergency services can access the site immediately if required. Is it not illegal to block their access to residential homes?

This is actually ridiculous and shouldn't even need a petition to be completed for the barrier to be removed!! Seriously what a joke. The barrier should be removed without a doubt.

This is a danger to residents that could potentially delay/stop any emergency services from entering the premises.

I agree the barrier should be removed due to health and saftey ambulances should be able to reach the front door for any emergancy!

Im worried in case my daughter gets ill and an ambulance is required. Also in case of fire the fire service need access. I can understand why it was erected maybe there is some other entrance with locks for emergency vehicles
