I’ve got serious heart problems and the doctors are trying to find out what it is. I thought that I wouldn’t have to do the beep test so I don’t get a heart attack or anything, but I have to take the beep test or I’ll fail in P.E. The school’s making me risk my life for running.

The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. I was always forced to do this test even with very bad athsma. It was hard and embarrassing and down right demeaning.
