I would like Subaru to stop airing and remove the commercial they have called "they lived" my son recently died in a car accident. He was driving a Subaru. This commercial implies that the family lived because they were driving a Subaru. Regardless of the vehicle, I find any car accidents real or otherwise are triggers for myself and many others who have suffered tragic losses. Please help.
I have been reading every single story you leave in the comments and each one breaks my heart all over again. Knowing I am not alone in this grief brings me some small comfort while I prepare to send these testimonials directly to the people at Subaru headquarters.

Seeing this grow makes me feel less alone in my grief after losing my son. I never imagined so many people would validate my pain by backing this request.

My son was killed in a vehicle accident. My whole world has changed and it’s a daily struggle and nightmare. Some evenings I’m watching tv and then the commercial comes on and my heart aches and I just cry. Please remove this for me and all parents who have lost a child in a car accident

I know it was never the intent of Subaru to cause pain to those families who 'didn't live'. Please reconsider the effects your ad is causing. Thank you.

This commercial is disgusting, there are others that have lost their lives while driving a Subaru so this commercial doesn't hit close to home for just laynes family and friends but many others as well. As a respectful gesture,it should be removed.

Please remove the commercial, I feel it doesn't imply that your cars are safe, but that NO ONE will die in one, which as we all know, is not true of any vehicle.

This advert regularly triggers my ptsd. It's awful.
