Irrespective of any potential violation of the Hatch Act, SAIC Kerry O' Grady has besmirched the reputation of the Secret Service. Aside from other more serious implications, O'Grady showed lack of common sense in making the comments she made. I need not tell you what image some may have of your personnel, particularly in light of other incidents, such as the one that took place in Cartagena. O'Grady's action adds to the concerns regarding leadership of one our Nation's must prestigious law enforcement agencies. SAIC Kerry O'Grady should be removed for cause.

I believe that SAIC Kerry O'Grady should be removed from her position and the Secret Service. It her duty to protect the office of the Presidency. She is not asked to agree with the Prseident. Her statement shows that she is not willing to preform her duty. She is also charged with the duty of sending agents into harms way to protect the President. It is possible that she would assign an agent a dangerous post for differing with her political opinion. She is comprised.

Regardless of political affiliation or personal beliefs the task of protection of our elected officials is crucial and not up to debate or protest.

It is impossible to express my respect for the Secret Service for what is required in protecting POTUS and VP. This commitment, with disregard of ideology, takes extraordinary people and contributes to what sets the USA apart from all others. For an SI to publicly express the opposite shows complete lack in judgement -- certainly less than extraordinary for what is necessary. Also, in the current climate, all branches of law enforcement need Americans' support not someone to create more headlines. O'Grady is not worthy of standing shoulder to shoulder with men and women bound to their oath.

This agent is duty bound to protect our president. She clearly has no intention of doing so. She needs to be fired so she is no longer drawing a taxpayer funded paycheck. Not tucked away somewhere and riding out the time necessary for a retirement, terminated. The fact that she's in a senior leadership makes this even more appalling.

A disgrace to Secret Service for her to make that comment.
