The U.S government inside the Pledge of Allegiance has a quote that lots of U.S citizens may find "Offensive". Because of Separation of Church and State, and schools being owned by state makes it tricky.
In America religious freedom is what we fought over in the revolutionary war. America can not move on with products of "Religious Freedom", "Pursuit of Happiness" if a country has religion in it! Because of this "Under god" it implies that this country is religion based, the fact this country was based on Catholicism and bears "Under god" is simply not conveying the right we as American citizens need!
With religion in a country it pushes important theory's away, just because a old book made around the time we thought the universe is circling the earth does not mean it is true! People discourage evolution due to a lack of important information all because they were "Raised that way"!
We the people should not have to have our children bear the burden of a hypocritical country! Remove "Under God".
