These are far too severe. There may be arguments for and against speed bumps, however, I do not believe the council have the right to damage my car. I drive over these twice daily at less than walking speed, and have already had my tracking thrown out. Remove them please.

These bumps have been put in an inappropriate location. Other traffic calming measures should be considered such as chicanes. Please can these be removed as they damage cars, create excessive noise and pollution.

There are speed bumps then there are these axle breakers and neck jarers and I'm not speeding!

Put the money towards fixing some potholes instead of causing more damage by putting in ridiculous speed bumps which, even at 10mph, manage to royally f**k my car

The traffic calming in rampton is more dangerous than without it, does not give enough time to slow in a 30mph, or 20mph for that, on a blind bend with unknown oncoming traffic, you need to do near enough an emergency stop.

I do wonder how many cars have been damaged since installation. They are the biggest I've ever come across in the bloody country.

Speed bumps are outdated, newer traffic calming measures need to be used.

I don't think these speed bumps are the best solution, however without them the aproach and inital traffic calming is VERY dangerous without them. Without thse speed humps people are leaving the village too fast, into a blind corner where aproaching traffic in on the wrong side of the road coming into the Village around the intial traffic calming facility. The speed humps as installed are too big and potentially too damaging to cars even at apropriate speeds. While I'm here, the traffic caos around the Green and the top of Cow Lane during a Chapel service is seriously dangerous, and the conregation very threatening in behaviour as they deliberately stand in the middle of the road, or park where they like obscuring view of the road and junction. These speed humps are far to high and you have to go over them at 5mph so they don't damage your car tyres.People living on the road have complained of their homes vibrating and the noise keeps them awake at night.

The humps are an illegal size and their angular structure means they can only be driven over at 5mph or less. Any more than that is just plain nasty. The scheme is crazy, at best!! The chicanes have caused at least three accidents. After the speed humps were installed there was a serious accident on the bends outside the village towards the next village, possibly due to a tyre blowout or steering damage caused by the humps. People have been injured and two cars written off. There is blood on the hands of the perpetrators of these humps. Shame on those responsible. This is a 30 limit and most folk do just that.
