The students of Perth Modern High School strongly believe against the anachronistic values preached by the Providence Church. Perth Modern School was founded upon the secular beliefs of progressiveness and equality, clearly not upheld by the services allowed to use the faculties.

Providence City Church displays outdated and disrespectful messages that go against the views of the students, such as "The husband exercising headship in a way that displays the caring, sacrificial love of Christ, and the wife submitting to her husband in a way that models the love of the church for her Lord."
