Very concerned about this dog. We live very close to this dog and it's unbelievable that they walk the dog without a leash. I have been told to keep my dog away or the pitbull Tequila will kill my 12 pound dog.

My family loves dogs and we don't want to prevent someone from having their pet but this dog is too dangerous for a family neighborhood. My youngest daughter was bit in the face by a dog when she was little and she will forever have a scar on her mouth. She still loves all dogs but we cannot risk this with a breed that tends to be vicious especially if it is able to be loose. A pit bull jumped in my yard as a kid and killed my dog so I gladly sign this.

Well said Sue. I have seen the sweetest pits and very nasty little cute dogs. But this dog is obviously not right, some dogs aren't. And the owners are the real ones to blame - not properly managing a dog is indefensible. I used to walk our dog that way but don't anymore, we take a different path.

Find out who their home insurance is because some homeowners insurance companies will not insure you if you own certain breeds like pittbulls,rottweilers etc

I have heard about this dog before. It has attacked neighbors that were out for a walk. It was not on a leash and ran out of the yard. It obviously doesn't belong in a neighborhood.

The dog resides at 14530 Creek Club Drive, 5 doors down from us. I called the police & animal control yet the police say they have no other complaints about this dog. I have heard from several neighbors accounts like the ones above. Thank you so much for helping us with this petition and I believe the board will have no choice but to listen to its concerned residents.

I live directly behind these people....essentially almost sharing a back yard. The day after we moved into our home one of our small dogs was almost killed when the pit bull ran through through the tree line and came at my dog. My dog jumped out of the way as the pit bull lunged and the miss was literally inches. The owner came screaming and beating her dog. We filed a police report and then the owner came screaming at my door immediately afterwards telling me that her dog was not a threat. For three years we have lived in fear of this dog. I cannot take my dogs outside without first checking to see that the pit bull is not out. They walk their dog on a daily basis with NO leash and have NO regard or care for the threat it poses. It is a PROVEN fact that a pit bull cannot be restrained by an electric fence when its in attack mode. Their adrenaline kicks in...and they feel no shock. The owners refuse to put up an actual fence. I have witnessed aggressive acts and attacks by this dog for three years. I can hear the owner screaming and beating on her dog from inside my house!!! I have contacted the HOA on numerous occasions and their final response to me a few days ago was that the board has decided to not do anything about this situation. It confounds me....how can you refuse to protect your neighborhood from a dangerous animal?

These owners told another neighbor - "Don't let your dog close to our house because we can't promise we can control our dog and it may kill your dog" It needs to go!

On December 11th 2013. My 15 pound Lhasa Apso was also attacked by this same put bull. The homeowner could not control the dog and was very upset by the attack. She promised me that it had never happened in her 6 years of owning the dog. I did not report the incident to animal control because I believed the owner when she told me she was a dog trainer and this was a rare isolated incident. She is a neighbor and I felt at the time she was being honest. I have come to find out since my incident that it was not the first time or the last.

I train dogs and care give for dogs as well. I know that aggressive behavior like growling or even acting offensive can happen, however when a dog is uncontrollable they should not be living in a community where there are children and other animals. It disgusts me that the owner has not taken these pit bulls away. In addition animal control was not called regarding the attack is another issue.

HOA should prohibit renters and homeowners from housing any dangerous dogs (primarily Pittbulls, Rottweilers) from our neighborhood immediately. Rescues are irresponsible allowing people to adopt these dogs in hopes of "rehabilitating" them. Electronic fences are no barrier when the dog decides to go after it's intended victim. They really think a 2 second shock will slow it down when it is in full attack mode? There are so many more abused dogs that could use a loving home that wouldn't be a safety hazard to our neighborhood.

I am a dog lover as well. Electric fences do not prevent attacks. Walking off hours can be someone else's off hour too I know of another attack by the same dog while the owner was walking three dogs and could not control them.
