"FULTON COUNTY, NY -- The man known locally as Mr. Ding-A-Ling has reportedly been arrested and charged with D.W.I. as of 12:10 AM Saturday in the Town of Northampton. 53-year-old Phillip N. Hollister of Montgomery Street in Gloversville was reportedly pulled over by a sheriff's D.W.I. patrol while operating his Mr. Ding-A-Ling truck after reportedly swerving into the oncoming lane of the patrol car on County Route 123.. Hollister recently received national media attention as part of an 'ice cream war' after he accused his Gloversville competitor Sno Kone Joe of harassment back in late April. Hollister has reportedly been issued an appearance ticket and is set to answer both a failure to keep right and driving while intoxicated charges at 3 PM on August 15th in Northampton Town Court." ~ Fulton County & beyond This petition is to be signed and mailed to the city in which the Vendors License for Mr. Ding - A - Ling's ice cream truck operation is held. Effective immediately, his license to operate an Ice Cream truck around children and on our roads should be revoked.
