She was a great character in the first two seasons (a strong female character, not blood-related to the main protagonist, without the sexual relations). As soon as Olicity came in the show, the quality vanished. Roy, Thea and Laurel were conveniently ignored, and Diggle just became the relationship advisor of Olicity. The show could be renamed 'Olicity'. Seeing the season 7 premiere, we can 'rejoice' knowing they found a way to cook up more Olicity drama.

Get'cho life Arrow writers and stop this Olicity nonsense.

She is selfish she contradicts herself constantly it's her way or the highway just poorly written character.

This was once one of my favorite shows on television and initially did a fantastic job of portraying a gritty comic book hero like no other show on tv. However, as of season 3 the show began a sharp decline. All because of one very poorly written character and an actress with zero emotional range. I gutted out season 4 but have now given up on the fifth season several times as Felicity Smoak/Emily Bett Richards is utterly unbearable to watch and has singlehandedly destroyed this show. She embodies nearly every character flaw you could imagine in a person and has ZERO redeeming qualities. PLEASE stop throwing good money after bad by ignoring the overwhelming majority of the shows fans who simply cannot stand her. I for one, will not be giving Arrow another chance until or unless I hear that Guggenheim and the other writers finally extricated their heads from their posteriors and removed or rewrote what is quite possibly the worst character in television history. At least then I could watch the show again with the knowledge that the nightmare that is, Arrow led by Felicity/EBR, will eventually be rectified. Yours truly, A former fan

Can't watch anymore, felicity to annoying of a character now

The only development I have seen in felicity's character is from being a good comic relief to a whining in everything kind. Everything in storyline is made about her. What I liked earlier in Arrow was that there was this team and then there was family he cared about both kept separate. And then there was his friend/lover laurel whom he had know forever. In his darkest times he held her photo in her hand and the first thing he wanted to do after he came back was meet her and apologize to her. They ruined that. Also, i would like to add that there relationship would only have make the show grow stronger as both of them shared similar goal i.e, save this city. And unlike felicity, she actually had means and insight being a solid lawyer. Olicity destroyed that. Now it seems like all Oliver cares about is nothing but Felicity. I am signing this petition because I love arrow and want it to get better. Either they write her better or make her character take the back seat.

If the character is required then replace the actor. She isnt pulling off what could be a great character for the arrow
