Forcing families to church is not welcoming and will only turn more away. Have a conversation, do some research as to why attendance is down. This decision will ruin athletics and ruin the school. This will never benefit the parish

This was a very underhanded thing to do. This was sent out on a weekday and only allowed three days to review. This is a massive potential change to parishioners lives and to thrust it on the entirety of the student body in such a sudden way is incredibly insensitive to families who have their students attend SJB. Not to mention the effect on the student who have no say in what their families can accommodate when it comes to attending mass.

We have an adult daughter with developmental and intellectual disabilities who will disrupt every service and I have no one else to care for her

In order to afford to send our children to SJB, both of us as parents need to work, as we are not granted any financial assistance but we volunteer our time as much as we can when able to. I now feel like we are being penalized by not being able to commit to church services every week. Highly disappointed and am considering other options for school if this isn’t changed.
